Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of recent psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience
- Strong therapeutic communication and crisis intervention skills
- Knowledge of mental health conditions and medication management principles
- Ability to assess and monitor patients in acute or sub-acute psychiatric settings
- BLS certification (required)
- CPI or de-escalation training (preferred)
- Excellent patient assessment and documentation abilities
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Perform nursing assessments and continually monitor and document changes in patient conditions
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor for therapeutic and adverse reactions
- Utilize de-escalation and crisis prevention strategies to maintain a safe environment
- Provide patient and family education on mental health, medication compliance, and coping strategies
- Participate in care team meetings, treatment planning, and discharge preparation
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with all regulatory standards

$1,909 - $2,013/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
