Travel Psych Registered Nurse (RN) in North East, PA

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour shifts / 36 hours per week
• Rotating schedule, primarily 7a-7p (AM/PM)
• Weekend shifts required
• On-call standby of approximately 24 hours per month by discussion

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania
• BSN preferred
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience
• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Completion of PA Act 31, 33, 34, 73
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR preferred
• Mental health/psychiatric experience highly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing support within the Crisis Residential Unit
• Complete assessments for patient admissions
• Administer medications and carry out med orders
• Maintain safety protocols for patients and staff
• Collaborate and communicate with patients and the treatment team
• Report directly to the Nurse Manager and operate with clinical independence and flexibility
• Exhibit strong clinical judgment
