Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year recent psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience
• BLS certification (required)
• Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects
• Collaborate closely with physicians, psychiatrists, and social workers
• Support patients and families with education about mental health conditions and treatments
• Monitor and document patient progress, updating treatment as needed
• Deliver care that prioritizes safety and patient dignity
