Travel Psych Registered Nurse (RN) in Waterford, PA

As a travel RN in a psychiatric setting, you will broaden your clinical skills by supporting the Crisis Residential Unit. Working closely with a dynamic team and reporting to the Nurse Manager, you'll engage with a diverse patient population and gain exposure to various leadership styles and workplace approaches—an experience that will enrich your nursing resume.

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• Rotating schedule as needed—primarily 7a-7p
• Weekend shifts required
• On-call standby of approximately 24 hours per month (if willing; details upon interview)

Qualifications:

• Active RN license (PA)
• BSN preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• BLS Certification, PA Acts 31, 33, 34, and 73 required
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records preferred
• Mental health or psychiatric experience highly valued

• Complete patient assessments for CRU admissions
• Administer medications and manage medication orders
• Maintain safety and uphold best practices for both patients and staff
• Interact directly with patients in a crisis environment
• Exhibit independence, flexibility, and sound clinical judgment in all situations
