Deliver high-quality care within a rehabilitation and long-term care environment as a registered nurse. This contract role offers an opportunity for an experienced nurse to support patients on their journey to improved health while working alongside a dedicated healthcare team.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active and unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of one year of RN experience, ideally in rehab or long-term care settings
  • Strong assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Current BLS certification
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to nursing care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Monitor patient progress, recognize changes in condition, and respond promptly to needs
  • Accurately document patient information and nursing interventions in medical records
  • Educate patients and their families on care expectations, therapies, and recovery strategies
  • Maintain a safe and clean care environment, adhering to infection control policies
  • Support discharge planning and patient transitions as needed
