Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation, (RN) in Ankeny, IA

Qualifications:

• Current and unencumbered RN license
• Experience in rehabilitation or long-term care strongly preferred
• Excellent assessment and clinical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
• CPR/BLS certification required

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for rehabilitation and long-term care residents
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans based on patient needs and responses
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
• Document observations, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly in medical records
• Educate residents and families on care processes, safety, and rehabilitation goals
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately to emergent situations
• Foster a positive, compassionate, and encouraging environment for both residents and colleagues
