Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation, (RN) in Des Moines, IA

Qualifications:

• Active RN license and in good standing
• Prior professional experience in rehabilitation or long-term care nursing is strongly preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care in accordance with established rehabilitation and long-term care protocols
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and document patient status and progress
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for side effects and response
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other team members to develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families regarding care, medication administration, and rehabilitation therapies
• Ensure safety, comfort, and dignity for all patients
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
