Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation | Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Contribute your clinical expertise in both rehabilitation/long-term care and medical-surgical nursing settings as a Registered Nurse. This contract position requires a skilled RN who can confidently support diverse patient populations and deliver evidence-based care within a collaborative healthcare environment.

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Experience in rehab/long-term care (LTC) nursing
• Background in medical-surgical (Med Surg) nursing
• BLS certification (active and up-to-date)
• Strong assessment, prioritization, and communication skills
• Commitment to patient safety and excellent clinical outcomes
• Ability to adapt to new environments and teams efficiently

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in both rehab/LTC and Med Surg units
• Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and document interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to develop individualized care plans
• Promote a safe, healing environment by adhering to all protocols and standards
• Educate patients and families regarding ongoing treatment, progress, and discharge planning
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient status and provide appropriate interventions
• Support efforts to maintain regulatory compliance and quality improvement initiatives

$2,105 - $2,227/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
