Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN license
- Previous experience in rehab or long-term care nursing strongly preferred
- Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Solid understanding of rehabilitation nursing protocols and resident-centered care
- Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Team-oriented approach with commitment to patient advocacy and support
Role Responsibilities:
- Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress in accordance with care plans
- Administer medications, IVs, and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes
- Provide guidance and support to nursing assistants and other support staff
- Educate patients and their families about ongoing health needs and rehabilitation strategies
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with facility policies and state regulations
