This travel role in a Critical Illness and Rehab setting is designed for Registered Nurses specializing in Rehab or Long-Term Care who thrive on collaboration, safety, and top-quality patient care. As you immerse yourself in this setting, you’ll gain exposure to a wide variety of workplace practices and leadership styles—valuable experiences that will elevate your resume and enhance your clinical expertise.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel assignment, flexible contracts available

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active RN licensure (eligible to practice in MI)
  • Minimum of one year of RN experience in Rehab or Long-Term Care settings preferred
  • Strong commitment to patient and workplace safety standards
  • Clear, compassionate communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission
  • Develop individualized care plans in conjunction with the interdisciplinary team
  • Deliver direct patient care using evidence-based practice and the nursing process
  • Initiate discharge planning from day one, including patient/family education
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation
  • Supervise and delegate to ancillary staff
  • Ensure safety protocols are maintained for patient and staff well-being
  • Actively pursue professional development and continuing education
  • Communicate status changes promptly to physicians and senior staff
