Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state
- Proven experience in stepdown or progressive care settings
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Familiarity with electronic medical records
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based care for patients requiring frequent monitoring and advanced interventions in a stepdown unit
- Perform comprehensive assessments and respond promptly to changing health status
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for coordinated patient care
- Educate patients and families on condition management and recovery processes
- Administer medications, manage IV drips, and perform advanced nursing procedures as appropriate
- Accurately document patient care activities in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards
