Schedule/Hours:

  • Night shift: 4x12-hour (18:30 - 07:00)
  • Option of 36 or 48 hours per week
  • Weekend requirement as needed, rotating
  • Floating required within unit
  • Block scheduling considered on a case-by-case basis

Qualifications:

  • Current, valid RN license
  • At least one year of recent stepdown/PCU experience (two years preferred; one year considered)
  • Cardiovascular experience required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required; CPI preferred
  • Willingness to float as needed
  • First-time and local travelers welcome
  • Experience with EPIC documentation system desirable

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to PCU patients with cardiovascular needs
  • Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 on a 55-bed unit
  • Effectively document care and patient progression in EPIC
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Adhere to safety standards and evidence-based practices
  • Rotate weekends as scheduled; participate in block scheduling as approved
  • Maintain professionalism; scrub color is your choice (no logos)
