Stepdown Unit Registered Nurse (RN) in Chapel Hill, NC

Schedule & Shift:

• 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00 – 07:30
• Every other weekend required

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an Emergency Room setting
• Active NC or Compact RN license at submission
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Proficient with EPIC charting systems
• Not accepting first-time travelers for this role

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional nursing care in a Stepdown unit, monitoring patient conditions and responding swiftly to changes
• Administer prescribed medications and therapies, closely observing for reactions or side effects
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the EPIC system
• Support patients and families, providing education and resources related to ongoing care needs
• Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards to optimize outcomes

$1,868 - $2,032/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
