Travel Stepdown Unit Registered Nurse (RN) in Elyria, OH

Schedule/Hours:

• 13-week contract
• 12-hour night shifts
• Every other weekend and every other holiday requirement

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years RN experience required; travel experience not required
• Active RN license (Ohio or compact eligible)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certification required
• Dysrhythmia Exam (study guide provided)
• Proficiency in managing lines, drains, devices, and airway support
• Comfort with cardiac drips, EPIC documentation, and telemetry strip interpretation

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients, develop and update care plans
• Administer cardiac and critical care medications safely
• Read and verify telemetry strips once per shift in EPIC
• Coordinate care between interdisciplinary teams and serve as patient advocate
• Respond confidently to acute changes in patient condition
• Educate patients and families, supporting transition and recovery
