Schedule:
- 12-hour night shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- 13-week contract assignment
Required Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Five years of RN experience, with substantial recent time in a cardiac telemetry setting
- Proficiency in cardiac stepdown care, including pre/post-op open heart (transfers from CVICU), TAVR, Watchman implants, mitral clips, and heart catheterizations
- Demonstrated management of post-op CABG patients (>3 days), cardiac drips (cardizem, amiodarone, dobutamine, lidocaine, milrinone, heparin, insulin), anticoagulants, CHF, chest pain, arrhythmias, NSTEMI, STEMI, PE, sepsis, pneumonia, stroke, and observation patients
- Experience using TR band and groin management, with ability to identify and address complications
- Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (must be current)
- Cardiac telemetry skills checklist must be submitted
- Commitment to completing all assigned skills documentation accurately
