Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) - Farmville, NC

Deliver exceptional patient care in a dynamic stepdown nursing environment. This contract Registered Nurse opportunity provides a chance to make a meaningful impact by supporting patients transitioning from critical to general care, while working as an integral part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Schedule/Hours:

• 36 hours per week

Key Qualifications:

• Current and active RN license
• Demonstrated experience in Stepdown or progressive care unit
• Proficiency in assessing and monitoring patients with acute and complex needs
• Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Primary Responsibilities:

• Monitor, assess, and document patients’ vital signs and clinical changes
• Implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other clinical staff
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Provide attentive support and patient education to both patients and family members
• Respond promptly to changes in patient status and intervene as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records ensuring compliance with hospital policies
