Required Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Previous experience in a stepdown or progressive care unit is highly desirable
• Proficient with electronic health records and patient monitoring equipment
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
• Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication abilities
• Team-oriented approach with dedication to collaborative patient care

Key Responsibilities:

• Care for patients transitioning from intensive care to standard medical-surgical floors
• Monitor vital signs, recognize and act on changes in patient status, and intervene as needed
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and support complex treatment plans
• Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans
• Provide clear education and updates to patients and families regarding care and recovery
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with infection control practices and facility protocols
