Stepdown Unit Registered Nurse (RN) in Farmville, NC

Schedule/Hours:

• 36 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Demonstrated experience in stepdown unit or progressive care environments
• Competence in monitoring critically ill patients, titrating drips, and utilizing advanced cardiac life support protocols
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in stepdown units
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, responding effectively to changes and collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals
• Administer medications, manage intravenous lines, and perform complex nursing procedures as needed
• Educate patients and families about care plans, promoting patient safety and well-being
• Ensure accurate charting and timely documentation of all patient care activities
• Adhere to best practices and safety regulations within the unit
