Cardiology Registered Nurse

Location: New Mexico

A Travel Cardiology RN is needed for a 13-week clinic assignment in New Mexico. This non-invasive cardiology role offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule and is well suited for a nurse with telemetry or cardiac stepdown experience and a background in monitoring stress tests.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS

• Full-time, 13-week travel contract
• Setting: Outpatient cardiology clinic
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Shift: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekly Pay: Starting at $2,320
• Travel Requirement: Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility; locals are not accepted

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide nursing care in a non-invasive cardiology clinic
• Monitor patients during cardiac stress tests
• Recognize and communicate changes in patient condition
• Coordinate care with cardiology providers and the healthcare team
• Maintain accurate assessments and patient documentation
• Educate patients about testing, care instructions, and follow-up
• Work independently while following established clinical protocols

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 1 year of Cardiology RN experience
• Experience monitoring stress tests required
• Active New Mexico RN license or acceptable compact RN license
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing or nursing diploma required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
• Critical access hospital experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and commit to the full assignment

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION

Pay: Starting at $2,320.00 per week based on a 40-hour schedule
