Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1-2 years recent experience in a Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Eager to adapt to new technology and care protocols

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Deliver skilled, high-quality nursing care to acutely ill patients transitioning out of intensive care
• Closely monitor patient status, performing frequent assessments and responding rapidly to changes
• Administer medications, interventions, and therapies as directed
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care planning
• Educate patients and families about disease processes, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Document accurately and timely in the EMR system
