Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) - Greenville, NC

Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license
• Proven experience working in a Stepdown or similar progressive care unit
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong assessment, monitoring, and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Closely monitor patients’ condition and progress during the post-ICU phase
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and update individualized care plans
• Provide clear patient and family education regarding recovery and ongoing care needs
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, outcomes, and patient responses in accordance with facility protocols
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies and changes in patient status
