Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) - Jacksonville, AL

Key Qualifications:

• Current, valid RN license.
• Demonstrated expertise in Stepdown and/or Telemetry nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Recent clinical experience in an acute care environment.
• Proficient with telemetry monitoring systems and patient assessment.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate, individualized care to patients transitioning from intensive care or requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and clinical status.
• Respond promptly to patient changes and collaborate with physicians regarding care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to facility protocols.
• Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, care procedures, and post-discharge plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record system.
• Ensure adherence to all safety, infection control, and quality standards.
