Schedule/Hours:

• Travel assignment (contracted term)
• Rotating shifts or flexible scheduling depending on facility needs

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ recent experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) environments
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Adaptability to rapidly changing situations and multitasking in fast-paced settings

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional care to patients in Stepdown and PCU units, monitoring their condition and responding to emergent needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications and interventions with a focus on safety and quality.
• Accurately document patient status, treatment, and responses for effective communication and continuity of care.
• Educate patients and their families, offering support throughout recovery and transition phases.
