Key Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings
• Advanced understanding of cardiac monitoring and the care of acutely ill patients
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care for Stepdown and PCU patients
• Assess, monitor, and manage patients experiencing acute and potentially complex conditions
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record system
• Provide patient and family education regarding conditions, procedures, and post-discharge care
• Serve as a patient advocate in a fast-paced, evolving clinical environment
