Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active RN license in good standing
  • Minimum of 2 years recent nursing experience in a Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Skilled in monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms, administering IV medications, and responding to emergency situations
  • Proficient with patient assessments, care planning, and patient/family education
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide continuous monitoring and care for patients in the Stepdown/PCU units
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications, monitor patient vital signs, and perform necessary interventions based on physician orders
  • Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes clearly and accurately
  • Educate patients and families about condition management, medications, and discharge instructions
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and infection control policies
  • Respond effectively to changes in patient condition and participate in rapid response situations as needed

$1,895 - $2,074/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
