Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) - Los Lunas, NM

Schedule/Hours:

• Night shift: 4x12-hour (18:30 – 07:00)
• Flexible weekly hour options: 36 or 48 hours
• Weekend participation: Rotational, as needed
• Block scheduling considered on a case-by-case basis

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• Active RN license with at least 1 year of recent stepdown or progressive care unit experience (2 years preferred)
• Cardiovascular care experience
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; CPI preferred
• Open to first-time travelers
• Comfortable floating as needed within related departments

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized patient care to adults recovering from cardiovascular events in an intermediate care setting
• Maintain safe nurse-to-patient ratios (typically 1:4) to ensure quality attention for each patient
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team and contribute to efficient patient transitions
• Use advanced monitoring and electronic documentation to support evidence-based decision making
• Rotate weekend coverage and adapt to a dynamic schedule as part of a committed night shift team
