Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) - Morrisville, NC

Step into an essential clinical role as a Registered Nurse specializing in Stepdown care on a dedicated contract assignment. This opportunity is ideal for experienced RNs seeking to make a significant impact while working with a diverse patient population.

Schedule & Commitment:

• 13-week contract beginning 9/21/26
• 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Stepdown or Emergency Room RN experience required
• Active NC or Compact RN license at submission
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Proficiency with EPIC charting systems
• Not open to new graduates; prior relevant experience is a must

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a Stepdown setting
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding rapidly to changes
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC
• Adhere to unit ratios of 1:4, ensuring optimal care and safety
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning
• Uphold infection control, patient safety, and confidentiality standards

$1,868 - $2,032/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
