Travel PCU/Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) | North Ridgeville, Ohio

Assignment Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour PM shifts
• Rotations: Every other weekend, every other holiday
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Unit: 33 beds; patient ratio 1:5-6 (nights), acuity dependent
• Patient population: Cardiac Telemetry, Vascular, Med-Surg, Post Cath/Pacemakers

Elevate your clinical practice by managing advanced lines, drains, and devices—such as PICCs, dialysis catheters, trachs, and wound vacs—in a supportive, well-resourced unit. Gain valuable experience reading and verifying telemetry strips in EPIC and managing cardiac and vasoactive drips, while collaborating with dedicated ancillary staff.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• RN license valid in Ohio or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; 1 year acute care RN experience required
• Stepdown, cardiac, or PCU experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Certification
• Completion of Dysrhythmia Exam (study materials provided)
• Strong communication, adaptability, and critical-thinking skills
• Comfortable with advanced airway management and conscious sedation
• Dedication to patient advocacy, teamwork, and cultural sensitivity
