PCU/Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) | Olathe, Kansas

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, active RN license in good standing
• Prior experience in Stepdown or PCU environment required
• Advanced knowledge of cardiovascular and respiratory monitoring, medication administration, and patient assessment
• Skilled in managing acutely ill adults and coordinating complex care plans
• BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid)
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and effective communication skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care for patients with complex health conditions requiring close observation
• Monitor, record, and accurately report on changes in patients’ conditions
• Administer prescribed medications and implement physician orders efficiently
• Communicate and collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and family members regarding care plans
• Document patient information, care provided, and outcomes in electronic medical records with precision
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and ongoing treatment requirements
• Uphold best practices in infection control, safety, and patient confidentiality

$1,895 - $2,074/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
