Stepdown Registered Nurses play a vital role in delivering intermediate and advanced patient care to individuals who require close observation but do not need full intensive care. In this dynamic contract position, you will utilize your clinical expertise and critical thinking skills, supporting patient stability and recovery through comprehensive assessments, continuous monitoring, and swift interventions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year of stepdown, progressive care, or critical care nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications (active and up to date)
• Strong interpersonal, assessment, and communication abilities
• Adept in using electronic health records and related medical technology
• Ability to remain calm and effective in fast-paced, evolving clinical environments

Schedule:

• Flexible rotating shifts available (details to be provided during interview process)

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough assessments and monitor patients in the stepdown unit, promptly identifying changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-specific care plans
• Administer medications and manage complex therapies accurately
