Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
• Excellent critical thinking and assessment abilities
• Strong communication and patient advocacy skills
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing clinical environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert nursing care to patients transitioning from intensive care, using advanced monitoring and assessment tools
• Closely monitor vital signs, recognize changes in patient condition, and quickly implement appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to develop individualized care plans
• Administer prescribed medications, therapies, and treatments according to protocol
• Educate patients and families about care strategies, post-discharge care, and recovery goals
• Document patient care activities accurately and promptly in electronic health records
