Stepdown Registered Nurse - Virginia Beach, Virginia

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract-based position
• Shifts and hours will be assigned based on facility needs

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong assessment and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced clinical settings
• Proficient in electronic health records and standard nursing documentation

Responsibilities:

• Deliver attentive care to Stepdown-level patients under established protocols
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and implement care plans
• Communicate patient status changes promptly to physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Support patients and families with education and resources during recovery
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all care provided
• Collaborate with allied health team members to deliver holistic patient care

$2,001 - $2,189/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
