Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) - Washington, NC

Schedule:

• 36 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Recent experience in a stepdown or progressive care unit
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care for adult patients transitioning from intensive care to general units
• Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and response to treatment
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and families to ensure continuity of care
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Respond promptly to clinical changes, interventions, and emergencies
• Educate patients and families about ongoing care and discharge planning
