PCU/Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) | Winterville, North Carolina

Schedule:

• 36 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Recent experience in Stepdown or Intermediate Care required
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and rapidly changing patient needs
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (as applicable)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage patients requiring close observation post-ICU or with complex medical conditions
• Administer medications, carry out advanced monitoring, and respond to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses accurately
• Educate patients and families on clinical status, treatments, and discharge preparations
• Uphold patient safety and hospital policies at all times
