Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of one year recent Telemetry nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Strong assessment skills and ability to respond rapidly in changing patient conditions
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Adaptability to new electronic health records and various care environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and continuous nursing care to adult telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpreting and reporting changes
- Administer prescribed medications and IV therapies
- Educate patients and families on cardiac health and post-discharge care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary health teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility standards
