Registered Nurse - Telemetry - Bessemer, Alabama

Desired Background and Skills:

• Active, unrestricted RN license
• At least 1 year of recent experience in Telemetry, Med Surg, or Tele (Telemetry) nursing
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring, interpreting rhythms, and rapid response protocols
• Proficiency in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for diverse patient populations
• Strong communication and time-management abilities
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, reporting any changes in patient condition promptly
• Deliver evidence-based nursing interventions with an emphasis on patient safety and dignity
• Coordinate care with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff
• Educate patients and their families about diagnosis, recovery, and ongoing health needs
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and changes in patient status
