Registered Nurse - Telemetry | Cranston, Rhode Island

Nursing professionals with expertise in telemetry are needed for an engaging 13-week assignment serving adult patients on a Telemetry unit. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care, monitoring cardiac rhythms, and providing clinical support within a dynamic team environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• 36/48 hour workweeks
• Night shifts: 7pm–7am

Qualifications:

• Valid and unencumbered RN license in Rhode Island
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Recent experience in a Telemetry setting
• Strong assessment, clinical documentation, and IV skills
• Ability to work flexibly, adapting to high-acuity needs and change in assignment

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and deliver nursing interventions for patients requiring cardiac monitoring
• Observe, interpret, and document telemetry readings, immediately reporting abnormalities
• Respond to changes in patient status with sound clinical judgment
• Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams for coordinated, patient-centered care
• Demonstrate flexibility by floating as needed (potentially up to three times per shift) in accordance with facility policy
• Maintain compliance with all union guidelines and facility standards
