Registered Nurse - Telemetry (RN) in Derby, KS

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in good standing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Previous experience in a telemetry or cardiac unit required
• Strong assessment, analytical, and documentation skills
• Proficiency in interpreting heart rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Responsibilities:

• Conduct continuous monitoring and assessment of cardiac telemetry patients
• Recognize and respond promptly to cardiac emergencies or changes in patient status
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and follow care protocols as prescribed
• Educate patients and families about cardiac health and post-hospital care
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and outcomes in patient medical records
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
