Registered Nurse - Telemetry (RN) in Derby, KS

Key Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum one year of recent experience in a Telemetry unit
• Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and monitoring
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and work effectively within an interdisciplinary team
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications

Primary Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms to identify changes in patient status
• Administering medications and interventions as ordered, documenting all care accurately
• Coordinating patient care with physicians, specialists, and other nurses
• Educating patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Responding swiftly and appropriately to medical emergencies
• Ensuring all telemetry equipment is functioning properly and reporting any issues promptly
