Registered Nurse - Telemetry - Fairview, Pennsylvania

Key Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Proven experience in Telemetry or Progressive Care settings
• Proficiency with cardiac monitoring and interpretation of EKGs
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong critical thinking and multitasking abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Schedule/Hours:

• Shifts and schedules will be discussed during the interview process; flexibility is essential to ensure optimal patient care.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and document nursing care for patients in a telemetry unit
• Monitor, interpret, and report on cardiac rhythms and vital signs; respond to significant changes
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary care teams and physicians
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform treatments according to physician orders
• Educate patients and families on care plans and encourage engagement in the healing process
• Maintain thorough and accurate electronic medical records
• Uphold protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards at all times

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
