Qualifications:

• Active RN license, compact or state of North Carolina
• Minimum 1 year recent experience in Telemetry and/or Medical/Surgical settings
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in collaborative, high-acuity settings

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive patient care in Telemetry and Med/Surg units, monitoring vital signs and responding to changes in patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and update care plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, and home care requirements
• Accurately document patient progress and interventions in electronic health records
