Registered Nurse - Telemetry (RN) - Groton, NY

Schedule:

• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of one year recent telemetry experience
• Epic electronic medical record experience required
• Strong bedside manner and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications current and up to date

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct bedside care to telemetry patients, delivering interventions per provider orders
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, responding promptly to changes and emergencies
• Document all clinical findings efficiently and accurately in Epic
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and ancillary staff to ensure seamless care transitions
• Communicate patient status and care plans with family and interdisciplinary teams
• Observe for subtle changes in condition and intervene appropriately to ensure patient safety
• Adhere to infection prevention protocols and hospital policies at all times
