Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Telemetry and/or Medical-Surgical nursing
• Strong clinical assessment, EKG monitoring, and IV therapy skills
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational abilities
• Adaptability to fast-paced environments and rapidly changing patient conditions

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in Med Surg and Telemetry units
• Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms, promptly identify arrhythmias, and respond appropriately
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies accurately and safely
• Collaborate with physicians and allied health staff to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment procedures and ongoing care needs
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policy and regulatory standards
