Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of Illinois or compact state license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a Telemetry unit
• Strong assessment and clinical skills related to cardiac and step-down care
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced Telemetry environment
• Monitor and assess cardiac rhythms, reporting changes promptly
• Administer prescribed medications and manage IV infusions per physician orders
• Document care activities accurately and timely in EHR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and deliver patient care
• Educate patients and families on recovery, safety, and wellness strategies
