Registered Nurse - Telemetry (RN) in Newfield, NY

Deliver exceptional care in a dynamic telemetry nursing environment supporting patients at the bedside. Schedule:

• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday rotation

Qualifications:

• Current and unencumbered RN license
• Recent experience in a telemetry nursing role
• Demonstrated proficiency with Epic electronic medical records
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
• Outstanding communication and critical thinking skills
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct bedside care, closely monitoring patients with cardiac conditions
• Utilize telemetric monitoring equipment to assess and interpret patient data
• Respond promptly to changes in patient status, collaborating with providers as needed
• Administer medications, provide treatments, and document assessments and interventions within Epic
• Educate patients and families about health management and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold highest standards of patient care
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety procedures
