Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current and valid RN license
  • Minimum of one year experience in Telemetry or a similar acute care setting
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Familiarity with telemetry equipment and cardiac monitoring
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in high-pressure situations
  • Proficient with electronic health records and clinical documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Closely monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret changes, and initiate appropriate interventions
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed
  • Partner with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide patient and family education regarding cardiac care and ongoing monitoring
  • Document all assessments, interventions, and changes in patient status accurately
  • Participate in daily rounds and provide detailed handoff reports to ensure continuity of care
  • Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards
