Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in Telemetry or similar acute care environment
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, arrhythmia recognition, and use of telemetry equipment
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment

Responsibilities:

• Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; promptly report arrhythmias or changes
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to create and implement care plans
• Administer medications and manage IV lines per protocols and physician orders
• Provide thorough patient education regarding cardiac care and recovery
• Document all assessments, interventions, and communications accurately in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies or changes in patient condition
