Key Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Recent experience in a Telemetry or step-down unit
• Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms and utilizing telemetry equipment
• Strong assessment, documentation, and patient-care skills
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Adept at working independently and as part of a team

Core Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients with acute cardiac conditions using electronic telemetry systems
• Respond swiftly to changes in patients’ cardiac rhythms, collaborating closely with physicians
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies as ordered
• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and provide compassionate bedside care
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient progress accurately within electronic health records
• Provide education to patients and families about cardiac health and ongoing care needs
• Adhere to established protocols for patient safety and infection control
