Qualifications:

• Current RN license, valid for practice in New York
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent Telemetry experience
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Strong assessment, monitoring, and critical thinking skills
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and telemetry equipment
• Exceptional communication and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the Telemetry unit
• Monitor, record, and interpret vital signs and cardiac rhythms
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Provide patient and family education related to cardiac conditions and treatments
• Maintain accurate documentation in medical records
• Respond promptly to changes in patient status, utilizing clinical judgment and emergency protocols
