Your skills in RN-Tele and Telemetry will be utilized throughout your assignment, ensuring optimal outcomes for patients requiring specialized observation.
Schedule:
- 36/48 hour workweeks—Nights
- 7:00 pm – 7:00 am shifts
Qualifications:
- Current and valid RI RN License
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Demonstrated experience in telemetry nursing
- Flexible and adaptable—willingness to float up to three times per shift as needed
Position Highlights:
- Travelers are assigned a home unit but will support various units as patient needs dictate
- Staffing needs are re-evaluated every four hours to maintain the highest standards of care
- The union hospital environment ensures that travelers are the first to float in accordance with contract guidelines
- Quick interview and onboarding process to get you working with the department promptly
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert nursing care to patients on telemetry units, monitoring heart rhythms and vital signs
- Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition, administering lifesaving interventions in accordance with established protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care plans
- Maintain thorough and accurate patient records
- Foster communication and support among staff, patients, and their families
