This 13-week contract position offers the opportunity to deliver top-tier patient monitoring and care alongside a collaborative healthcare team. Your skills in RN-Tele and Telemetry will be utilized throughout your assignment, ensuring optimal outcomes for patients requiring specialized observation.

Schedule:

  • 36/48 hour workweeks—Nights
  • 7:00 pm – 7:00 am shifts

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid RI RN License
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
  • Demonstrated experience in telemetry nursing
  • Flexible and adaptable—willingness to float up to three times per shift as needed

Position Highlights:

  • Travelers are assigned a home unit but will support various units as patient needs dictate
  • Staffing needs are re-evaluated every four hours to maintain the highest standards of care
  • The union hospital environment ensures that travelers are the first to float in accordance with contract guidelines
  • Quick interview and onboarding process to get you working with the department promptly

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert nursing care to patients on telemetry units, monitoring heart rhythms and vital signs
  • Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition, administering lifesaving interventions in accordance with established protocols
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care plans
  • Maintain thorough and accurate patient records
  • Foster communication and support among staff, patients, and their families
