Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of one year’s recent experience in telemetry nursing
- Proficient in ECG interpretation, cardiac monitoring, and recognizing arrhythmias
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, acute care setting
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care to patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions
- Monitor telemetry patients and respond promptly to arrhythmias or changes in patient status
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, treatments, and home care needs
- Safely administer medication and treatments according to standards and protocols
- Accurately document patient status, care delivered, and interventions in the medical record
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and daily shift briefings
