Registered Nurse - Telemetry (RN) - Rochester, NY

Key Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent telemetry nursing experience
• Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and care of telemetry patients
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Solid communication abilities and experience collaborating within interdisciplinary teams
• Adaptability and a focus on patient-centered care

Core Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, quickly identifying and responding to changes in patient status
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring, adhering to protocols and best practices
• Collaborate with providers and allied health professionals to develop and execute individual care plans
• Document patient progress, interventions, and changes accurately in the medical record
• Provide patient education on disease processes, medication guidelines, and discharge plans
• Participate in emergency interventions as necessary, ensuring safety and quality care at all times
