Registered Nurse - Telemetry - Sylmar, California

Schedule/Hours:

• Dayshift options: 36 or 48 hours per week

Key Qualifications:

• Valid CA RN license in good standing
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• At least one year of recent RN-Telemetry experience
• Familiarity and experience with the Epic electronic health record system
• Strong assessment, monitoring, and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to telemetry patients, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding promptly to changes
• Accurately interpret telemetry readings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care planning
• Administer medications, perform necessary procedures, and document care in Epic
• Deliver patient-centered education to patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and telemetry monitoring
• Uphold safety and infection control protocols at all times
• Prioritize patient safety and deliver compassionate care within a supportive healthcare team

$2,154 - $2,278/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
