Registered Nurse - Telemetry (RN) - Warwick, RI

Take on a vital role providing expert care in a busy telemetry setting within a well-respected healthcare environment. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and is ideal for experienced Registered Nurses passionate about delivering high-quality patient monitoring and intervention to adults with cardiac and acute medical conditions.

Schedule:

• Night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Rotating 36/48-hour workweeks
• Flexibility required; you may be floated up to 3 times per shift based on staffing needs

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license for the state of Rhode Island
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Previous experience in Telemetry nursing (RN-Tele) strongly preferred
• Demonstrated adaptability and comfort with frequent floating
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor patient status on telemetry units, quickly noting and responding to arrhythmias and deteriorating conditions
• Implement physician orders and coordinate multidisciplinary care to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document observations, medications, and interventions accurately using electronic medical records
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and guide patient families with education and support
• Adapt to floating assignments in accordance with union guidelines, taking the lead when workloads require patient care support on other units

$3,124 - $3,101/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 48 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
